Orpheus Award Nomination 2018 for Ave Maria by Marco Lo Russo

The Ave Maria, composed by Marco Lo Russo and dedicated to Pope Francis, has received the prestigious international recognition Orpheus Award Nomination 2018.

The musical composition, presented in absolute world premiere in Poland, in the Sacred harmony concert, by Marco Lo Russo, held in Krakow Sacred Festival 2017, is receiving a media success. More and more often, in fact, it is performed on national networks in Italy, like TV2000 and soon on RAI 1 for the program A Sua Immagine.

The Ave Maria by Marco Lo Russo intends to offer to Pope Francis as a thank you for the intention of prayer that the Pontiff expressed in August 2017 for the artists: «Artists are the caretakers of beauty and that cares for the wounds of the soul, their bring hope and trust [...] At all artists of our time go the prayer of August because through the works of their ingenuity they all help to discover the beauty of the Creation».
