Obituary of Father Paul Cullen, O.S.M. by Friar Servants of Mary – USA Province
Fr. Paul Cullen, O.S.M., a solemn professed friar and priest, died Friday, February 10, 2012, at Annunciata Priory, Chicago, IL. He was seventy-two years of age and a priest for forty-six years. He was born August 9,1939,in Stewartstown, County Tyrone, Ireland. He entered the Servite Order in 1957 in Benburb, Ireland, and was ordained a priest in 1965 in Brussels, Belgium.
For the past ten years, Fr. Cullen was the pastor of Annunciata Parish in Chicago. Fr. Paul also served as pastor of Our Lady of Sorrows, Chicago Assumption in Chicago, and St. Domitilla, Hillside. Visitation was held Monday, February 20, 2012, from 2:00 -9:00 pm at Annunciata Church, 11128 S. Avenue G, Chicago. The funeral Mass took place at Annunciata Church, Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at 10:00 am, with interment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery
